• SegnalazioneIl bando di Concorso del comune di Brunico (Bz) prevedeva la costruzione di un’importante centro di Mobilità nella zona sud-ovest della città di Brunico, in un’area non lontana dal centro storico. Il programma prevedeva l’estensione della vecchia stazione dei treni, una nuova stazione per gli autobus, un centro commerciale, ristoranti, bar, uffici e parcheggi per un totale di 13.500 mq coperti e 900 mq scoperti. La nuova stazione ferroviaria si sviluppa al piano banchine ed è in stretto contatto, attraverso la biglietteria ed all’ufficio informazioni, con l’accesso pedonale alla nuova stazione degli autobus pensata ad una quota -6.00m rispetto al piano stradale. La stazione è costituita da un piccolo edificio al centro dell”occhio” d’accesso alla stazione interrata, 2 grandi pensiline in acciaio servono da copertura degli spazi d’attesa. La stazione degli autobus ha una forma che ricalca esattamente la necessità di movimento dei veicoli pesanti, ne scaturisce una forma organica e fluida. La zona dedicata allo shopping, al ristoro ed agli uffici si sviluppa in fondo alla piazza, il complesso è formato da 2 edifici a “stecca” che si aprono a forbice verso lo spazio antistante.

• RecommendationThe competition announcement was aimed at the construction of an important mobility centre in the south-west of Brunico, not far from the city centre. The project (13,500 square metre covered area, 9,000 square metre uncovered area) included the extension of the old train station, a new station for buses, a shopping center, restaurants, bars, offices and parking. The new train station develops from the platformarea and is in close contact, through the ticket office and information office, with the pedestrian access to the new bus station designed to -6.00m proportion from the road surface. The station consists of a small building in the center of the access “eye” to the underground station, 2 large steel platform roofs serve as coverage for waiting spaces. The bus station has a shape perfectly suitable for heavy vehicle movement, because of its systemic and fluid features. The areasdevoted to shopping, refreshment and offices develops in the bottom of the square. The complex consists of two stick buildings opening scissor-like towards the opposite space.
